This November, join us at The Florentine in Fulwood as we proudly support the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal through the return of Raise a Glass.
From 23rd October to 11th November, you’ll be able to purchase a limited-edition commemorative glass created especially for this year’s campaign. Every glass sold helps raise funds for the Royal British Legion, supporting serving personnel, veterans and Armed Forces families across the UK.

Designed exclusively for this year’s Raise a Glass campaign, the commemorative collection features artwork created by Army veteran and award-winning artist Jane Wilkes.
Available in both pint and half-pint sizes, each glass features Jane’s powerful poppy design alongside the words “We Will Remember Them”.

The Story Behind the Design
This year’s Raise a Glass commemorative glass features a poppy design by Army veteran and award-winning artist Jane Wilkes, whose story is one of courage, recovery and new beginnings.
After 15 years in the Army, including tours in Macedonia, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan, Jane was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer during her final deployment and returned home for treatment.
During her recovery, Jane received support from the Royal British Legion, where she rebuilt her confidence and rediscovered her passion for creativity. Art became an important part of her next chapter, eventually leading to a successful career as an artist.
Today, Jane’s poppy design sits at the heart of Raise a Glass, representing remembrance, resilience and the support that can make such a difference to the Armed Forces community.
